Sedation dentistry
Dental anxiety is real, common, and nothing to apologize for. Sedation options exist so that fear never has to be the reason a tooth goes untreated.
Comfort options, matched to you
We offer IV conscious sedation — medication delivered through a small IV so it takes effect quickly and can be adjusted precisely throughout your visit. You remain conscious and able to respond, but deeply relaxed, and most patients remember very little of the appointment afterward. It's particularly well suited to longer procedures, implant placement, and full-mouth treatment completed in fewer visits.
Whether sedation is right for you is decided together at your exam, after reviewing your health history, current medications, and the treatment planned.
Safety first, always
IV sedation is administered conservatively and monitored continuously throughout your visit. You'll receive clear instructions beforehand — including fasting guidance and the requirement that a responsible adult drive you home and stay with you afterward — and the team checks your comfort at every step.
Who it helps
Patients with dental anxiety, a strong gag reflex, difficulty getting numb, or several procedures being completed in one visit often benefit most. If you've been putting off care because of past experiences, say so — the plan will be built around your comfort, not despite it.

Do you offer sedation for anxious patients, and how do I know if it's right for me?+

Will I be asleep during IV sedation?+
No — conscious sedation is not general anesthesia. You stay conscious and able to respond, but deeply relaxed, and most patients remember very little of the visit afterward.
Can I drive myself home after sedation?+
No. A responsible adult must drive you home and stay with you afterward. You'll receive complete instructions, including fasting guidance, before your appointment.
